secretary of labor lori chavez-deremer joined equipment manufacturers and more than 15,000 enthusiastic visitors on the national mall for the 2025 edition of aem’s celebration of 2022世界杯亚洲区赛程表时间 on the national mall.

the secretary visited with equipment manufacturers and discussed how to create a stronger workforce pipeline, improve workforce development and enhance economic prosperity for american workers, promote skills training and apprenticeships to meet modern workforce needs, and cut the red tape that stifles innovation and job growth while protecting workers’ rights.

while on the national mall, secretary chavez-deremer stopped by exhibits featuring the latest products and solutions that help the industry maximize productivity and efficiency, keep workers safe, and reduce the time and materials used to build our nation’s infrastructure. touring the exhibit along with secretary of transportation sean duffy, the secretary got a first-hand look at state-of-the-art infrastructure-building solutions and learned about the critical role that technology plays in building the intelligent, sustainable infrastructure of the future. the secretary even got to operate a remote-controlled trench compactor and go up 125 feet in an articulating boom lift.

the secretary spoke with aem’s kip eideberg about what it means to put the american worker first as well as the trump administration’s efforts to cut the red tape that undermines equipment manufacturers’ ability to innovate, create jobs, and ensure that the future is made in america.

“the partnership is key,” said secretary chavez-deremer. “and as we talk here today call it a pit stop on my ‘america at work’ listening tour – these equipment manufacturers will go out into the workforce and tell us exactly what they need. the feedback is key. i think you guys are doing a wonderful job, and i appreciate the dedication you are giving to this country.”
