the 2025 aem washington fly-in will take place sept. 16–17, bringing together senior executives from across the equipment manufacturing industry for two days of high-impact advocacy in the nation’s capital.

a “fly-in” is a focused event where industry leaders travel to washington, d.c., to meet directly with lawmakers and federal officials. these face-to-face conversations are instrumental in shaping policies that affect the industry’s workforce, trade, infrastructure, and innovation.

this exclusive event is designed for ceos and senior executives from aem member companies. it begins with a policy briefing on the afternoon of sept. 16, preparing participants for a full day of meetings on capitol hill. on “hill day” (sept. 17), executives will take part in up to eight curated meetings with lawmakers. participants are grouped into small teams—typically by state or region—and are supported by experienced aem staff to ensure a seamless and effective experience. an optional aempac fundraiser will also be held on the evening of the 16th.

what to expect

this efficient, two-day format is designed to maximize impact while minimizing time away from the office. the fly-in offers a unique opportunity to directly influence the policies that shape the future of equipment manufacturing.
